Well after starting off with direct drives years ago I guess I went full circle. This is my latest arsenal. The Stylus S seems to get the most use and the original hawk basically just sits in my case for looks.

I haven't perfected using it yet but one day I know it'll be the only machine in the case

My old version of the h I'm running at 13v for everything. That's my favorite for b&g. I still can't really line with it, maybe just pick at details with a 5rl.
My new version of the h I've only used once. I was lining around 11.5v with a 9rl and about 11v for 3rl. I found lining with that machine way easier. I put in color with 11cm bp at just about 10v.
My s is the newer version. This is my favorite of all. Voltages vary on what I'm doing, but mag work between 11-27 mag bp I'm between 8.5- 10.5. I'm really starting to get the hang of lining with it between 10.5-11.5. I've pushed 9rl with no problem and I know it can do more.
I'm trying to force myself to rotate thru the stylus so I can really figure them all out.
At first I was getting frustrated with them thinking they were slowing me down way too much, but that's no longer the case.
This is all on the cx1-g2. My eikon I had to run a little higher

I'm all spirit and thunder now. Although I run my OG hawk for large bng. Doesn't get any softer than that IMO.

Yeah man I dig the thunder just sometimes it feels a little too powerful. The spirits great just wish the stroke was a little longer
