cam/direct drive stroke wheel

Ok so I do like my old timer machine but cant be bothered to open up needles and trying to close them on the cam etc.. is there a cam like whats on the wayne taylor that would fit it? My wayne taylor cam doesnt fit it the shaft of the old timer motor ... if anyone has done this let me know its much easier to use a standard needle bar and grommet

If the hole on the cam is too small, then it is pretty easy and I would suggest using a drill bit in a pin vice. However if it is the other way around it is better to buy a new cam. There are some cheap direct drives on eBay you might be able to buy just for the cam wheel. Otherwise there is the adjustable cam wheel that ( if my half awake memory works ) that HM makes. Maybe he would sell you one at the right size.
