Been trying to do a few paintings a week to tattoo as an apprentice. Did this one recently. Trying to get my fades smoother. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/07/hu9udupa.jpg

I like it a lot!.. something about the flukes thou... maybe they could be a little bit bigger and slightly pointing inward.. but thats just me.
its your art man so its hard to say something to someone about something that they have done. Keep it up. Post more stuff! Love to see.

Thanks everyone! I agree about having them point inward and being a bit larger. If I was to paint it again I think if lighten them as well. I know that is far from being my last anchor.

As far as inward I guess it's personal preference. I agree but it's not what is bothering me. This is an anchor so it's a manufactured device. And they are symmetrical. I would be afraid to mirror something like this and make sure those flukes are level and symmetrica. IIt's a full on front shot so it sticks out to me. But your colors are nice and smooth. It's a good job for sure.
