Oil on canvas 16x20. about a year old.

hard as hell to photo a shiny oil painting. any tips on that would be helpful.

i own a canon Eos 1100D. The lens I use is a EFS 18-55mm. put the lens on AF(Auto focus) and set the top Dial on Av. Turn the lens to 18 and on your screen turn the F to (F3.5 ). the shutter will take a little longer to shut but more light will expose the film and you don't need flash and if the canvas is the focus whatever that's in the background will be out of focus but the canvas will be extra sharp.
