So I got one in the mail today. The first thing that dawned on me was that there is no rubber band holder or mount. So I looked in my parts drawer and came up with this. Made from an old binding post and 3x1/4" screws. And it works like a charm. No more band issues!

great idea-i simply use two standard ones around mine.one level with the bottom of the back frame across level and one going from the top of the back frame to bottom of the front. And no bands on cart setup.

Not to be that guy, but this tattoo machine works perfect with them sitting on the back lower end of the machine. Just like Slick said...one level, and one angling downward on the needle bar. Did you even try that?

I tried it like that. Didn't care for it. This machine works even better now, IMO.
I like the machine a lot. Just have a preference that's all.

Use yours however you like, if it works you. This Is what works for me.

And sometimes it works for some people and not for others.
Modifying is fun.

Hell yea! I love the machine. Just the band issue wasn't how I prefer. So I came up with this in a few minutes. And it worked great for me today.

awesome idea! kind of seems like the cut outs were made so you could do the mod, lol.
