arguments for Stingray vs dragonfly pls

looking for a new toy, considering one of the above,

which suits what better pls.

You can change the hit force ,softness and cams to get a other throw ....the stingray is much more versatile as the dragonfly...you can get a stingray to work like a dragonfly but no dragonfly to work like a stingray :-)

For ease of use.....I prefer the standard stroke D/Fly.....Also, if you don't like it, they seem to be easier to trade/sell than the Stingray, for some reasons...

I've used both quite a bit. Depends on what task you want it for. Either one will do about anything, but the Stingray shined as a liner for me, and the DFly for shade/color. Stingray seemed a bit faster and a touch more powerful. Dragonfly is capable of being way softer if need be. Both are good machines, especially if you like give. I like no-give for just about everything these days.

That releases the slide so you can adjust the needle when setting the machine up, or any other reason you'd want the slide to go down. Because of the cam setup it won't just push down without that lever.
