I'm trying to order a replacement springs trying to figure out the diameter of the spring.
Anyone know the size?
Mine shot out when I changed the ball bearing no where to be found and I really don't want to order a replacement ball bearing set for 80 bucks for a .10$ spring

ace hardware sells small ones-most likely you will have to cut a long one to size-but hey you could play around differnt lengths spring tension.

SmallParts.com may also have what you are looking for though if Ace has them it will be easier to just visit the local hardware store vs ordering one spring online.

tru you can just take the machine down there and size it up.have done it for coil machine parts-they have small parts bins.

McMaster Carr.com that's where I get most of my small parts and they have everything under the sun.

Oooh! Have you tried that already? Does it fit? Great idea in a pinch!

this is a nice chance to play with different springs to see the effects of more of less compression on the down stroke with that machine.

That's good I'll try that! I tried a couple pens and the springs wee to big, went to the hardwarestore and again all the spring were too big, if they are too big in diameter it just dosent work, I also ordered some off small parts. Com but I guess I measured the hole wrong with my calipers and these spring were tiny like grain of rice tiny.
That's why I was wondering if anyone knew the ooutside diameter of the spring?

Gunna try the lighter today
