Hi guys !

I want to buy and try a new cart machine (I have thunder, spirit, flite and stylus s), and I like the versatility of the edge x and the swash compact on the paper. I'm always looking for the best rotary machine for lining, but it wouldn't hurt if it's the best in color and bng too :)
Which one should I get ? Which one has the less vibration too ?
Any input will be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot !

for me its the swashdrive compact , very strong and smooth running -can do all and is very adjustable without any tools. By far one of the best rotary that i have try in the last years and get very fast on ....

I second swash compact. It's hands down the best adjustable cartridge specific machine out.

Didn't have the chance to use it yet because I got it yesterday and realized that the end of the give bar doesn't fit in my fkirons grip !

oh? in what way?
Always a pisser when you can't just forge ahead because of some little thing..
So anyway, why did you choose the Compact over the Edge?..

i like it more too , its faster to adjust with give or stroke -have more power and i have numbers to archive in my brain :) -and for me the biggest i can use normal needles too

The end of the push bars (the little metal ball) is too big to fit inside the fkirons darklab grip (the are very thight in the middle of the tube). But fortunately it's a delrin grip so I drilled it today to make the hole bigger.

I chose the compact over the edge because of the fact that you can adjust everything on the fly without tools and you can use regular needles too. The reviews were also very good and everyone who tried both told me to take the compact. I think the give may be more efficient than on the edge too

You can just cut a needle bar down to the size of the grip you are using. I have 3 different pusher bars to use with the compact now. a bar which fits the ttech grips, 1 for cheyenne and 1 for a thin disposable. if you unscrew the allen key fitting holding the pusher bar in you van easily swap them over. Beats messing up your more expensive grips

You're right Jason I didn't even think of that ! Well, now my rpg grip is drilled and fortunately still fine so no need to change the bar
