Finished this the other day, three sittings one arm and one flag on a US Soldier. No disrespectful comments please. This was a career first for me, covering a full limb in a single "item".

"Murica is a slang term that is often used in a negative, stereotypical way to describe life in the United States."

Maybe change the post title. Being this piece is on a US Soldier and all, I'd think the guy at least deserves the "A" and correct spelling of the country he risked his ass for so we can sit tatting away in our cozy studios. Killer piece though.

Where I live it's used for anything patriotic, not in making fun of the person. We all say "Murica!" or "That's 'Murican" in a country accent and smile about it. Had no idea that some places consider it negative.

I personally have only seen it used in making jokes about redneck type behavior, thus the " smile" when saying it.
