I have to say this machine is awesome. I've tried it on a few pieces and it's a very versatile, not heavy, very well balanced.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/11/55c1af3afb62d3472cc6974bb94068e1.jpg and also, go get the darklab rpg click XL. Been using mine for a bit and love it.

I havent found ANY dislikes with it. Smooth, consistent, and no vibration.

So how do you keep the grommets sterile if their on the tip of the bar?

It's just kinda gross I mean the whole machine just collects bio in the casing..

The new ones have similar rubber membranes as the Cheyenne ones

If used properly, bagged properly, and common sense with cleanliness and using carts that are sealed, I don't see any issue with them. Now if you used unsealed carts, don't back them in a certain manner or wipe them down, then sure, totally can see where your coming from. People just need to use proper things with Cart machines and use common cleanliness with them.

I guess my issue with a closed style machine is how do you clean the inside of it? I mean it's impossible? It's the same reason condoms are only 99% effective theirs always that what if.. I just couldn't live with that

its the same as coils, you cant medacide wires and such, this goes along with bagging a machine.

i know there are debates on bagging machines too.. it would be the same subject matter with saying we should take apart a coil after every tattoo, springs, etc.

Why is this all of a sudden such an issue when tattoo machines have been spraying themselves with bio coming back up the tube for literally hundreds of years now. I don't care if the cart is sealed not sealed defective or perfectly made, in any case the amount of blowback is exponentially smaller than in a traditional coil machine. And if anyone answer to this is "but I wipe my machine down after every tattoo" save yourself the time now and don't bother.

I don't disagree with coils being disgusting as well.. But why not take that all out of the equasion and use a machine you can clean easily after every tattoo

All machines are sealed in one way or another the only thing we can do is auto clave and medicide as best we can to prevent cross contamination from client to client if your not cleaning your machines after every use your lazy even so called sealed machines or working parts of coils need to be cleaned after every use rant over

In my opinion, it doesn't matter if carts are sealed or have a membrane. When you swap them out the inner part gets touched an when not in use lay around on a contaminated surface. A seal is irrelevant.

These threads always end up going the same way... Everyone thinks their set up is the right one while overlooking it's shortfalls, things can always be improved in everyone's set up... just try and use as much single use equipment as possible and bag everything!!! When you're done wipe everything down with cold sertilant and autoclave what you can.

And more over let's get back on track with this thread and talk about the ego r12.

Back on topic, this machine uses the triangle bushings, is this a successful dampening system? I used some of these in the early stages of the numa I was not a fan what are the benefits to this machine over perivious models?

The "triangle system" is a small rubber piece that has the soft medium and hard that is on the tip of the bar. I would say it hits the same as far as the dampening system goes as the other ego models.

Any more input on this machine? Since there's just so little information about it to be found. How is it compared to the Edge X for lining and packing solid color?
