Hyper troubles

Hey guys my hyper V3 heats up and slows down now after around 20 minutes use. I was thinking it needs a new motor. can i buy and fit the motor myself?

Might just need a new top bearing or just some good lube. I'd try that before I replace the motor. Also cables are always causing problems for me. Might be dirty clip cord lugs or a bad RCA cable
