Depends how many machines you run, if you use cartridges and are happy with a one machine set up then there's a huge choice. If, like me, you use 3-4 machines then I recommend the Bavarian Custom Irons Transformator 239, it has 3 individually controlled outputs so no fucking about with cords and voltages. It's nice and compact and is solid as a brick. Have been using mine for about 2 years now and can't fault it. Consistent power and no problems. Also comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The Atom is why I'm actually on the fence about critical huge step back in my honest opinion. Hey Jim , what do you like to run your bishop at with a tight 3 ? It between blue and purple.

my complaint with the critical and it is a small one is the cord connections and well my box/station set up. anyway you lost me, do you think the atom is a step back or the critical ? tia
