Got the new Bishop Fantom in the mail yesterday. I've done 3 tattoos with it.
Black and gray, color, and linework, seems to be a good all around machine.
It reminds me a lot of the early Stylus design, and I really wanted one of those back then.
It accepts any regular cartridge tube.

looks badass, do you know when itll bw available to the public? I cant info for that anywhere.. Also can you give any comparisions to the Flite and Hawk Pen? It says these have adjustable stroke and different springs for give

I don't know when it will be available. I'm pretty sure this summer though.
It doesn't appear to have any adjustments, at least not without taking it apart.
I have never touched a Hawk or Inkjeckta, so I'm not qualified to compare them.

Looks like it use the flat 12v fau motor, never liked that motor, i found it weak and always breaking i got though 2 in my old centri till it was changed to a 12v by then i had enough and never bother using it.

It is a flat faulhaber motor, but Franco had them make a 9v version with more torque and rpms and thats what we are using in our machines. This 9v motor was designed for the requirements of tattooing. If you require a motor faster then this you need to go take some tattooing classes. People always say oh i tattoo fast so i need a fast machine... And their work always looks like they move to fast... This motor is perfect for the window of speed and torque for tattooing. It being a direct drive, motor straight to cam, i cant see this machine ever dieing unless it falls victim to human error. All the Evader 2 have this same motor. This machine by Franco is nice little tool to have in line up for cartridge users.

After using this for several tattoos, I would say it is best for smaller groupings. I have been using it with 5 liners and 5 mags, 2 of my primary groupings. I'm sure it can handle larger, but it hits pretty soft... if I need something bigger, I switch to my Kubin or Clark.

Sounds like I will just stick with the Thunder

I think it's fast enough but maybe lacking in torque. I have an Axys Fehu and Cheyenne Thunder and both of those have torque and speed. I'm not sure if it's more geared towards black and grey. I wouldn't want to rely on it for the big colour pieces.

Revising my opinion, this thing has become my go to machine.
