i find the rapier awesome for large liners, havent tried it for much else but it works awesome for lining, takes a little getting use to though.

And the lines are actually fat or thin tru to the size of the needle.I would say this the rotary that every one needs in there box- can also pack n shade well to.

The Rapier II is probably the easiest rotary machine I've used to line with straight out of the box. It almost felt like I was using coils and took very little time for me to adjust.

Keep us posted on how you like it!

Jay its on the way. It should be there Friday. I was a couple days behind on Rapier orders. I was machining for the past week building Super Vs for the sardinian. I'm glad everyone loves the machine. I am working on some updates to the machine to improve it even more. I'm making to stroke cranks in 2.5mm and 3.5mm to cover long and short stroke. As well as a few secrets I can't tell yet.

I got mine today too. I was impressed with the construction of the machine. I didn't read the description properly though and it's got an RCA connector on. So i can't use mine till i've got a new clipcord. :-(

Sorry you must've misread my post. That is for clipcord-RCA, i'd need RCA-Clipcord. Thanks for trying to help though.

Looks good Jay but wow, you have to have some super fast hand speed as I've never had my rapier up that high!

Or just keep an RCA plug in your power supply and add the adapter for when you are using clipcord?

I have two Rapier2's and I can finally say i've found the perfect liner for my style of tattooing, I use one for 5rl and one for 9rl and 7rs, absolutely No hand fatigue and everyone compliments the clean lines I can achieve with these amazing machines! It's like using a frikkin Sharpie!
