Dunno yet but I have a busy day Saturday so I'll let you know - I've only connected up and set it up but it feels well balanced and really quiet. It's gonna be like a library in the studio.

To be fair it's ok, it's heavy and makes your wrist ache but I have used it to pack colour and large tribal stuff and it's fine. I don't use it much now - got nicer toys haha

I find the mechanism on the RW and the Rapier look very similar, how do they compare in performance?

I find the mechanism on the RW and the Rapier look very similar, how do they compare in performance?I tried the RW for lining but it didnt work well for me but I find it colours really well so that's what I use it for mainly. I use the rapier for lining only - it suits my fast hand speed. They are both very smooth I just use them for different processes.
I have not tried colour or shading with the rapier so can't compare to the RW sorry - must say the new treasure chest is fantastic - gray shading is a joy, short stroke 9v.
