Hi all. Im a tattooer/machine builder outta philadelphia and i started getting into rotaries last year. at the moment i have two first gen swashes, a gen 6, gen 7, and a few misc. true rotaries. now while these wont replace my coil machines, they definitely have an important place in my drawer and i would hate to have to do without them! interested in talking about rotaries and seeing the work ya'll do with em.
thanks,
j

Welcome to the forum J!

Builder? Only coil machines or have you tried making any rotary machines?

funny enough the first machine i ever made was a rotary, but that was back when i was 14 haha.
i make handmade coil machines, www.easternelectricsystem.com, mostly for myself and friends, but have wanted to try
my hand at making some rotaries. At the moment i'm experimenting with different motors and having fun seeing
what i come up with.
thanks,
j

thanks, i just started teaching myself to engrave earlier this year and
it's coming long good. takes a bit of patience, but it's a lot of fun once
you start getting consistent depths in your line. heh, a lot like tattooing...
