ATTENTION! We are doing database maintenance on the forum over the next two weeks.

This will include security upgrades and patches to the forum software as well as moving the forum to a new server and collocation facility. vBulletin software can be fickle so are always anticipating some minor bugs and a little downtime here and there. If you find anything odd about how the forum software is working please send me a PM to report it. If you see the site go offline (I am hoping I will get the heads up for when this will happen?) for a few hours please do not panic as there should be a be back shortly maintenance window posted.

If you have questions, comments, concerns about the site going offline feel free to ask... if you just want to complain the site is or will be offline for a few hours I may tell you to leave your computer and go for a walk. ;)

Walk? As in OUtsIDe?!? Ohhh...I seriously don't know if I'm ready for THAT. Sounds scary....

LOL I just imagined forum members walking outside squinting and shielding their eyes like the people at the end of "Surrogates".

My dumbass has an iPhone. I have definitely checked the forum outside, at a bar, on the subway... Now I will have to read the news.

Looks like tonight we are wrapping up maintenance and adding some more security to the site software and this should be when the site will go offline. We where going to do it last night but it looked like there where 50 people active on the site at the time and my tech pal helping me with this decided to do things that would not take it offline with many of you active on there.

The next downtime will probably be in December when I can get the guy we are hiring to do the modifications to the forum skin.. this is all look and feel stuff. Just working on how to pay his invoice so if anyone still wants to buy any shirts to help with this you can click my signature for details.

There may be some downtime tonight. Jon, our super awesome tech guy is adding a few more poneys under the hood. (adding ram to the server) This site does not get hammered with enough traffic to really make this upgrade noticeable but you may see attachments load a little quicker. Apologies in advance for the downtime. Please report any bugs you find.
