this may or may not be a problem.. but i've been noticing lately that my gen7 machine has to "warm up" so to speak at the beginning of a session. meaning i have to set my power supply at say 9.5, and it sounds like the machine starts off slowly, and then starts getting faster and faster until it hits a consistent hum at what 9.5 should sound like.

has anyone else noticed this? is it even a problem? should i be keeping an eye out for another rotary for replacement? just curious.. i'm very new to rotaries.

[email protected] this is the email I have used... double check the spelling of the above posted email. ;) And let samyo know about the thread on the forum too. They like to be on top of stuff on here so others with the same problems can just read the answer. :)

i ended up replacing the main bearing with a ceramic one and it cured the problem. it was not hard to do and was about 20 bucks
