Looks like a more rounded spirit. What's the difference? Is it a new motor or just a new housing.

Longer 4mm stroke length and a higher cps (170) is about all I can see that's different.

A chap in the shop was tattooed by Crispy Lennox using one of these to line. Linework is top notch.

now all they need to do is make those damn needle cartridges cheaper

I don't think they're too bad. I mean if you are already using decent quality disposables you're only looking at around an extra £1 per cartridge.

My Thunder should be here next week :)

Remember in America they are nearly 3$ per cartridge.

Which is not really any different to decent quality needles and tubes.

Well I don't live in America, I was just making a point of reference. A disposable tube and needle of decent quality cost me about 1€. So even two machines, tubes, and needles 2€. I think hawk cartridges would be at least double. So 100 tattoos in a month is 200€ more

It might be useful if youre fully booked... All the set up time it saves to use the cartridge system and the little space that is necessary for one machine and a couple of cartridges are fantastic.

The price difference for me would be too big. I pay like 1,70€ for a needle and grip and the cartridge costs about 3€ setting up 4-5 machines for a tattoo its gonna cost too much more to consider
