Hawaii's tattoo community has the opportunity to speak for there rights. This bill will make it so artist will have to test in Hawaii to tattoo there. We all know there are some places the have sub par regulations. This will ensure that traveling artist are up to standards. I know a lot of artist will disagree with this, but making the trade more strict will only benefit us in the long run. It would be nice if artist from other places would help us in our fight to have the right to ensure a safe and regulated industry. If every one was to stand up for each other we will have a stronger hand at fighting illegal tattoo operations. So please, if you agree with this, take the time to submit a testimony.

Hawai'i folks-- if you care about safe tattooing & upholding standards in Hawaii, please join the Coalition for Safe Tattooing in Hawaii. Message Peggy Sucher (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1667742505) with your details to be added to our list! We need your support. There IS a hearing this next week on a bill that will allow for out-of-state testing, which we oppose, as there is no way to determine that the course or test is adequate and properly administered. More more details, see TattooBills Hawaii (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003450046639). You can submit testimony online -- it's very easy: It took me under 5 minutes.
