I got this very sweet build in a trade, solid Brass, some nice features, spot on frame geo.. Dude didn't have any history, built in 2009, really nice and heavy, still has original coils Buenos Aires 20 wraps. Has the initials BN and No 31 carved into the frame, obviously BN could have been the owner, and not the Builder...Any info would be appreciated...I know what it isn't (Sunskin), but I would like to know what it is...Peace,P

Looks like an old sunskin energy to me.

Yeah the frame has been used by Sunskin and Paolini, and a few others...One of the reasons I don't think it's a Sunskin, is the position of the vice screw, I think even in 2009 they screw was side on rather than straight on..Acting on info received, and some pics, I think it is a Paolini, because of the vice screw design...

Don't know if I'm seeing this right, but is the rear saddle shimmed up with something? Looks like the machine is a rebuild, not the original coils...

Its just the pic Inkslingers, rear saddle isn't shimmed...Coils are original, only things that have been changed over are the Springs.

HI Inkstar, I'm pretty sure it's not Indonesian, I don't think they would go to the bother of creating a lost wax cast Brass frame, then put the vice screw in the wrong place... and any copies of Sunskin I have seen have the Sunskin Vice screw, not one like a Paolini. Copies are usually exact, and if this was meant to be a Sunskin, why go to the bother of fitting a collett in the vice, when the original split vice could be easier...Also the small nick at the back of the frame to slot the rubber band was part of the cast process, not an afterthought. Due to the build quality of this, I am sure it isn't a Sunskin copy, nor was it intended to be.I had a Brass Sunskin Energy, and this is a totally different design, weight (heavier) and build.

Runs like a train, 140cps @6.5v's, 0ft, 48% Duty....Nice long stroke, I use it for 11rl-14rl, pushes them with ease..
