are there any threads on cleaning machines in ultrasonic cleaners?

Don't quote me on this but I have heard that ultrasonic machines with heat can destroy aluminum, so if your frame is an aluminum one, you might damage it.

I'd check with the manufacturer to see if it's ok or not.

If you use alkanox ( spelling ) in your ultrasonic it will eat aluminum. I don't advice putting any machine in an ultrasonic. Paint can get taken off too.

Back on topic I've cleaned the slide from my inkjecta in the ultrasonic but only after seeing Byron post it was OK :D
