Wildboy the mini evo is a cool little machine...although designed as a liner it works amazing with mags...been using 11 curved mags with it no problem...And Baldrick the bigger one pictured next to the mini's is a hm evolution in brass...pretty good at everything too.

what are those grommets you have on the dragonflys? they look like little vacum line plugs!

Got them from mickey sharpz....i like em for lining as they dont offer much give or needle bar loop movement which i think helps for more positive lines...also they last forever without falling apart..

should the grommet and rubber bands be changed after each tattoo?

I do it as a matter of course, I believe that anything that can be changed should be changed, within reason...However, nothing to stop you keeping your Special ones for Show...

Some top hat grommets are very soft and after one session will allow play on the needle bar loop...i was always told to change them after a sessions inking...but there are the sturdier ones that last longer, silicone tubing lasts alot longer as do the mickey sharpz ones mentioned earlier.

One thing i will say is the gen 7's line so good with the soft clip...ive had a few customers who came back for the shading etc,and the linework with the gen 7 is spot on..
