Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the rubber grommet to NOT scrape against the machine?? I put a metal washer in between but the washer just grinded down the metal on the machine from the friction. I dont see any other way beside that to get the machine running though. This machine is awesome but i have no idea why he designed it like this. Dale sent me a new part to replace the grinded down part but what now, just use it til this one grinds down also?? lol, any ideas??

I had same problem. Use the ones from tatsoul they are made a lot better Snug tight I think they call them. The silicone ones work ok too, those cheap rubber ones shread like crazy and get all in the works of the machines.

Use a nylon washer, not metal. Thats what I use myself anyways.

My one piece came with a big thick grommet glued to it.

Any Nylon or Fibre washer will do, I have a shit load of the Gromms which come with Cheap combos, all I do is slice of the "dome", with a Craft Knife, and I am left with a nice washer.Pop that on first,Pic 1, and then slide yer Gromm on til it touches it, dont ram it on tight, or it defeats the purpose,Pic 2.....http://www.rotarytattoo.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7430&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1328735251 http://www.rotarytattoo.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7431&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1328735273

Not enough space for both a washer and an o-ring, think I'm gonna mod mine with a groove and a circlip above the plastic slide washer. I hate how the washer can just fall off when there's no nipple on.

i use paper towls or these.. there very very tight to put over the pin.. and just dont push them against the frame put your rubberbands on and it will stay on his place because its so tight...

Get on ebay and grab yourself some fiber washers like the ones they use to insulate pcb's and slide that on first if an o ring is too large.
