Ok, here are a couple of quick pictures of a limited series of brass machines I am doing. The body is brass and I have applied what I am calling a "burnt foundry finish," the clipcord pegs are copper with a nice patina finish with some green oxidation around the edges..... I hand turned these from copper stock. The motor cap and clamp are black, both having a slightly distressed finish. The back of the motor cap has Nick's signature hilighted in brass along with the same engraved on the machine's side. 1077210773

A dozen of them are slated for the NIX show in Toronto, come by the Eikon booth and check one out.

Wow. That is beauty and the beast. We're these cast and then machined? And that finish looks so antique industrial, I friggin love it. Bet there's gonna be a few neotats on the market here as there's quite a few Neo-philes out there that will want to upgrade when they see this monster...

No casting....machined out of a hunk of brass. This monster runs very smooth.....kinda "blacksmith punk"

Sorry, The Chaboya only is 3.5mm and clipcords. But there are to be brass machines with not so drastic finish that will be avail in all the connections and stroke lengths......like the machine Alie is using.

also, The coloring is a special procedure I have been working on for more than a year now that is a combination of heat and chemistry.
