I knew he'd develop that idea. it's too good not too. I've fit a few designs based off of his principals and invention. The man is a metal smith god.

Looks dope, I still wanna try one of his forward coil machines.

I like it similar action to the centri I would imagine
Will be interesting

The forward coils are amazing. If it wasn't such a heavy machine I'd use em. When you run one you'll wonder why all coil machines aren't forward, it works sooo well

***Hijack*** Clark, Godoy and Mao, are the Best Coils I have ever used...However, anybody who runs Coils, knows, it is a Harder Bike to Ride, and a Rougher Road to Run...Only saying...***Hijack over *** LOL....P;)

That is the way to go for a nice b n g machine oh if it only make it a slider it would kick arse

"Cool" does not even begin to describe the concept behind that machine. Wow.

It would be the closest a rotary could come to a coil, you would still loose thrust as the bar and magnets are separated in distance as the needle makes contact with a surface. its amazing to see the difference between builders and innovaters. This idea along with the Centri should be old school techniques by now the way the worlds technologies are today. I think our industry is lagging in the most important tool we use everyday. I hope to live another 40 years to be part of and witness our industry innovations blossom. Nice work, glad there are others that escaped the box!

It looks like it pushes the bar upwards while it would seem logical to have it pull it no?

I think it would have more push if the spinning magnet was above the the needle bar. Not below where it has to pull

I've hoping to have to my first run of rota-mag style machines made fairly soon, 6months or so, the designs are about to be mapped in CAD. Ive been working on these for a while in secret, ive only shown a few people the designs and protos. Anyways one version is a slingshot armature style somewhat like the SpecTech Axis, and the other is a compact slider, both use repulsive magnetic force, adjustable stroke length and positioning of magnets, and adjustable duty cycle. My reasoning for wanting to use magnetic repulsion is that the most power will be in the beginning of the stroke and will ease up at depth. I think that will create less trauma as long as the power is balanced. One nice thing about this concept is that force can be adjusted by number and placement of the magnets and voltage only changes the speed.
