Shaded with Spektra (4mm) and Inkjecta, Colored with Spektra, lined with Spe. Tec. axis carbon.

Second sitting today, I was supposed to finish but ran short on time. Lines and most of the owl shading were the first session.
sorry for such a blurry cell pic, I'll take some real pics when its done.1174811749

How did the Spektra performed?

Well, shortly after I started using it, I said "I think I love this machine!" Granted I say that about a lot of machines, but this is the only one that when I was done using it, I went into my drawer and pulled out 4 other machines to sell to finance a couple more Spektras.

I do have to say that, while the machine is aesthetically simple and lovely, and wipes down super easy, I am another guy that would appreciate a needlebar tensioner of some sort. The rubber bands work great, but now I have 3 different size rubber bands I need for various machines. I guess when I use just Spektras thoug this won`t be so much of an issue ;)

Awesome machine.

Get in touch with member Sage Oz ,and he'll make you one. Also ,I bet Needlerunners would work really well with this machine.

Thanks for the feedback bro. I am glad you like it. You can use regular rubber bands if you like, just double them. Sage makes some nice tensioners check them out.
the website went live yesterday at www.spektrarotary.com (some are still being updated)

Got to finish this piece today. Spektra again for most of the color. I took a ton of photos, but just grabed three that looked decent to post...

The give knob and tension is perfect, tighten it down all the way for no give, I personally like just a slight give for everything. It has the best coil-like feel or tightened down will hit hard with no give

I love the spektra. Ordered a couple more. It is the only adjustable rotary I have tried that can actually hit like a no give machine when it is tightened down all the way (everything else seems to still have a bit of play)
great machine.

Amazing! It has all the infinite adjustability you could want from super soft to hard as Ron Jeremy on Viagra.
