So Wayne was kind enough to offer me a try before you buy deal on one of his rotaries. Thus far I'm impressed. By far and away the most silent rotary I have ever used, I mean silent, I had to put it to my ear to hear it. Very, very smooth, I used a 13 curved mag at 4.5 volts and finished a decent size, solid black batman logo (amazing) in fifteen minutes. Also did a few small tattoos with it, great whip, and smooth black and grey so far. I'm gonna use it a lot more tomorrow and keep you posted, but my experience so far is very good and Wayne is a total gent.12008

Do you get any flex with the carbon fiber frame? also is that a front slider on the chuck kind of like a rotary works?

No give and yeah a front slider. No flex in the frame that I noticed.

People keep obsessing about "give" on direct drive machines, just use soft silicone tubing to make your grommet. This machine looks like a really nice build, let's have a thorough review when you've used it extensivly.

Also, 3mm stroke. I'll be using it for black and grey today and will keep you updated. So far, I think as far as direct drives go, this one is killing it, so smooth and seemingly such little skin trauma.

any updates ??

had mine 4 weeks... its awesome.. its so light on the skin but can still hit hard I line with it every day at 6.2v give or take.... it also is very good for smooth grey shade and can colour pack too but not my chosen machine for that... bang for your buck I don't think much keeps with the quality and performance of this machine....

he has delete all pictures of the new one - looks like the old one but have the new DCX Motor from maxon with a lot of power and the same size like the old one. Around 14w torque with a 3mm cam

Yes indeed looks almost the same but he has a maxon motor made specifically for this machine that offers no faster speed or anything but a shit load of torque to drive home anything you can throw at it!
