Can't wait. I just got an email with pics of it. It should be bout to come out. Super small, no screen just a knob. 10 turn potentiometer.

I always thought it would be as big as a EMS 400, but when I watch the video I am under the impression that it is barely bigger than a SMALL REMOTE!

Fuuucckkk just bought the ems 400...... If this turns out to be cheaper i will get it. Hopefully it does not need a brick to plug it up that would defeat the purpose of the whole size..

Why would you think it's made for rotary users from just that picture?

For those of you that have to 400 and don't like the touch screen (I personally can't stand it), there's a simple fix for that. Take a trip to your local Radio Shack and pick yourself up a 10 turn potentiometer, three female 1/4" jacks, a small plastic housing box and a couple of feet of wire if you don't have an old clip cord to donate. Takes like 20 minutes to make one, and cost is under $40 using the best of the best.

If you go on the Eikon website you can sign up to get notified about the EMS 300. It will send you a short computer generated video of it.

Here's the link for the video, it's not much more then the picture but gives you at better look at least http://www.eikondevice.com/es300-360-video-tour I'd like to believe there's more to the screen then just you power read, like duty? speed? etc..

Lack of a specs meter but i suppose i can be used for all machines.

I'm assuming it's replacing the es200. That was just a knob with no read out. Just an updated simple power supply, the no bells and whistles ems400.
