John Clark is a nice guy and AWESOME machine builder!
I had the pleasure to meet him at the Copenhagen inkfest a few years ago!
He is the definition of TALENT.

wow, a true master craftsman! Instead of just repackaging what's gone before he's pushing the envelope and actually reinventing the wheel.

I hear he's gonna sell them around $600, they are probably gonna be heavy compared to most rotaries as most of his machines are solidly built. Stroke length will be very adjustable as is the actual power of the hit, independent of the voltage which will only affect speed.

I love John's work I got several of his coil machines but this is not a new invention it's an apdatation of the magnetic points used on old motor cycles which you could also advance or retard with an adjustment screw. I tried something similar before with a conventional abar but could not get strong enough magnet may be I will have to have another look at it.

Cool way better price than I expected! He spent a considerable amount of work making these and I'm sure they will be amazingly versatile and capable!!!

I know this is a little of topic, but... If John Clark did audio books, I would listen to every single one of them, no matter content. Most soothing voice ever.

Also, he seems like a very open minden lad, no doubt.

Mine arrived monday. Today will be my first day back at work since i got it. I will post a review, but what i can say so far is that the stroke variable is vast. it can go from very long to very short, keeping the same power. the voltage controls speed, so that is a constant. and the hit is firm. i mainly wanted it for a liner pushing large 14round shaders, 18 rounds, fat lines. I wanted something i could outline with large groupings fast, this seemed like a good answer because your hit is gonna be consistent, it has back off, and you can adjust the speed to run fast without increasing the force. so thats my thought, but once i saw how the long stroke at slightly slower speeds worked, I am thinking it can do it all...Maybe its time to post some pics. i guess ill read to see how to do that on here... ill post the first thing i do with this.

Yup found it. Any way you could add some more updated info? I'm really waffling on whether to shell out the cash for one.

If you're willing to tinker with the adjustments this machine is capable of doing anything you want from super soft to insanely hard hitting. If your'e looking for a machine that will run they way you want it right out the box probably not the machine for you. Definitely a solid running machine and very well built.
