Ive been workin on this tattoo of a coil machine on my clients ribs..

Done completely w rotaries..

Ive been experimenting with different eq...most of the lines were done w a neotat and caligraphied w a stealth 7mag or larger...just started using the hyper v3 for lining and works great and is much lighter than neo tat, tho not as quiet.

im guessin around 7-8 hours in 4 sittings...i can cook when i have alotta space w a 15 mag...theres not too much detail to slow me down ...just the clients whining (nyuk)

i drew it on himw a bic...i like to fit things on the body that way...apparently he was at some local shop and the artists were giving him grief because he has a tattoo of a tattoo machine and he doesnt tattoo....it seemed to me that everyone was gettin tattoo machines on em like 15 years ago...

heres some of my older stuff-you-can-see-from-across-the-room

Nice bold work! It does have a Bugs feel and the colour choices are very Aaron Cain I think.

i love bugs! i wanted to be an entomologist when i was a kid..

oh...wait..

you mean "bugs-evil from the needle" guy...funny you should mention him...we both started out tattooing celtic stuff in the late 80's early 90's....then he got heavy into cubism and developed his style...and i only a little, but i do love his work and cubism and anything that doesnt look "tattoo" if you know what i mean...aaron cain, marcus pachecko, jeff raiser...those guys were my mentors at primal urge when i was cutting my tattoo teeth

i seen bugs using neotat at the nyc con last may
