well got the machine today just in time to do some work.. used it to do some line work..very well made and smooth running..very light and quiet. doent run as fast as the stealths. I used it at about 9 or 10 volts to push a 9 liner in the inner bicep.. very pleased with it

From what most people I know who own one have told me it functions very well as a strong slow color packer. You may have to slow down how you work at first but if you get used to it you will see it will slowly speed you back up.

Last time I saw Ben selling them they where Maxon, its a long skinny can motor.

its a maxon motor... very smooth running.. not a fast machine ..I feel he needs to put a rubber band guard on the font because I kept breaking rubber bands on it.. I like the machine still doesnt out perform the neo-tat or the rotary works

It will find its place. If you keep snapping bands try a large O ring.

I like that a lot, maybe the band problems you are having are a placement issue?

also you can try juat one of those Rc hobby wide rubber bands for RC plane wings they last foreever and stetch well and chemicel resistant.

I have the same problem with the rubber bands. I use three when packing color. Usually by the time im done one if not two of them are gone. Running around 5-6 volts.

Have you tried a very large O ring?

i usually use some pliers to clamp the needle tighter on the O ring.

slicksteel, I have one of the laser etched spikey Ben Wights, red with the Brad Fink devil head etching. I don't really use it anymore, got a swash gen 7 and kinda stopped using any without the dampening. If you're interested in it hit me up, feel bad it's just sitting in the drawer. I'd be down for selling it or a decent trade.

Large 0-ring (plumbing supply) instead of using rubber bands. They are much sturdier.
