ok so im super weird about cleanliness and organization at work and i had this idea for storing my needles inside of my larger cabinet etc. I want to use the small parts cabinets like the pic but none of them are made deep enough to fit needles. Anyone know where i can find something similar but with a longer drawer? or any other cool ideas?

Go to an ikea, or a bed bath and beyond and look for little storage drawers for silver ware or what have you. That is what we use here at the shop.

I just cut the ends off the boxes and taped them all together like a tower. If you leave one tab on you can label them.

you can buy tubing cut to size and end caps-my friend has it like this and it looks slick and can be washed/whipped down

I leave them in the boxes and find it really satisfying writing a large "7" R or "15" M on the box with a big black marker,,,,sometimes I smell the marker and remember being in school.

i found small 5 drawer sterlite containers at walmart today for like 7$ . had just been leaving them in the box and playing with markers lol. i like this it looks neat :) I used to blow glass and stored my glass rods in pvc pipes then moved up to the square plastic fence posts that have 3 sections in them. those were awesome. might move on to that in the future and build a wood box to enclose them in. ill post pics of it if i ever do :) thanks for the help! really wish i could find an extra deep small parts cabinet though

14064 I agree, I like to write on the boxes makes it quick to find what you need, I'm down to 1 draw of T-Tech cartridges and loving how simple and stream lined things have become :)

got two of these with my sullen bag GREAT! stores two by 4 each
Fishing lure cases work for me. Each compartment holds 30 needles and theres 6 compartments. They fit in the tool box drawers and when I travel I can just throw it in my back pack and go. They have them at target for $5.

I use a Storage box for fishing lures..pre-sterilized needles fit perfect in the compartments and there is room for about 10 -12 different sizes..walmart or any good sporting goods place sells them..or online for sure

I keep my needles in Jars. I got some from Ikea. They are clear glass with a metal top. This way I can just look at the side of the jar and read the code off the back of the blister pack. The best part is that the jars are airtight and I don't have to worry about anything landing on them.
