After virtually switching to rotaries full time, I now have fell in love with DD's due to recently purchasing Dan Kubins mini DD. So im contemplating buying another DD and was looking at Roys machines. Anyone have any info on them, stroke length, volts range, etc.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

They're a bugger to set up, if you're looking for an alternative DD Wayne Taylor here in the UK makes a very nice machine..........................

hey pete how is the balance on those? and once the chuck slider tightens down is it hard to get it to release like the rw ones that are almost the same?

Slick........the machine is very nicely balanced, it's stroke is shortish about 3mm but don't underestimate it's ability to pack color, I have no issues with the tube vice.
Jimmee..........always a pleasure,and I like the stuff.
