Build up darker shading behind the light foreground pieces, and vice-versa

@Devans, i deleted my comments and the quick PS reference i did of you drawing. the comments were just what i would do in PS to make the images more tattoo-able and then a example of such. i removed them as i'm very new here and didn't know how well that type of thing would be received, no big deal you missed nothing.

i'm on my way to the shop, but here is my 3min example of your drawing to make it more tattoo ready. i.e. i would make a hand stencil from this art. 15271
and run with it. burn tool, brightness-contrast, levels, more burn tool, tweak and print.

Photoshop, its kind of pricey with a learning curve but a most valuable tool i use everyday in tattooing. with your example i wasn't trying to change it or such but merely to enhance the image as to make it more tattoo-able. you can try a demo of it and i think adobe now offers a monthly subscription service as well. when it comes to getting art ready for tattooing its a real handy tool to have and learn. check out adobe.com when you get a chance or if its your thing?
