John Clark is inspiring! He needs to join the forum! A rare breed of inventor that really swims upstream.

John was born in the wrong century. I can see him chill'n with Tesla. What a craftsman!!
And to think ahead on the motor and have it be able to be rebuilt, Brilliant!

Does anyone know how to get a hold of clark? I would really love to buy one of his machines, but i have not been able to find a facebook/myspace for him. I'm a newbie to the group, and have been a liscensed tattoo artist since 1997. I have been using a rotary machine for 2 years now, and i thought that it would be totally impossible for me to walk away from my mickey sharps. My first rotary machine is from tcm. I had to run it at 12-14 volts. I am also using a rotary from monster steel. The newest ones are monster steel, and i run them at 6.5 volts. I really love the way they lay ink, but there is truly nothing else like a machine made by a true artisan. It would be an honer to use one to create more art. Can't wait to hear some feedback...ray jeffus

I am so very impressed by his machine-abilities and all his rotory prototypes are at least inspiring at most revolutionary. His most recent(about a week ago)YouTube video of his newest rotary idea is so stupid simple and brilliant. Motor spins rare earth magnets to attract adjustable(by both independent compression and rebound springs)mounted Abar. Reliability adjustable speed and simplicity of a rotary, magnetic pull creating the drive force like a coil. I think this one is pretty likely to be AWESOME if he ever gets around to making them. I've already started building one for myself utilizing the principle(Sorry John! But you knew we'd steal the idea eventually, but yes, you get the credit). I'll let you guys know when she's done and tested....

I have 3 coil machines from John Clark. 1 forward, 1 liner and 1 shader. I will try to call him and get him to join. He made a coil for a co worker and put his nickname on it for him. A really nice guy every time I have called him.

Yeah John is super cool, I talked to him briefly once. Hey props to him. I have been working on a design like this too. Guess I will have to see how similar they are. Please get him to join.

He has an account, he was active on here and now is not. I think its just when he has time and the novelty is there to hang out on a forum.

If I had his brain I would lose interest in almost anything pretty quickly I think.
