the original? well lets just say that nin took the money and made a new one bcause the first one was just str8 GARBAGE and nothing was done to make the customers happy, so unless he found god i dont see a diff. i would save my money untill enough people give a review... just sayin

use customers to buy a product as finished when merely it seems nothing more than a prototype. look at builders like gaston, no one really complains with the mechanics or workings or general functional issues with the halo, it doesnt suit everyone but it works how it should and is reliable, obviously tested properly. then google the rotar.

I for one still will give him more time on the benefit of the doubt, he's really approached the misgivings of the previous in this newer model as far as I can see. When it ran for me consistantly the Rotar was VERY promising, and I honestly loved the overall design, just not the execution. I'm in line to get one of these ASAP and I'll give my honest review...

Yea that would be fucked up. Deff a kool looking machine if it was worth a fuck. As far as making it right? Yea right... His word is like his product (shit)... But he will still fill his pockets on lies. Look how long it took some people to get there machines. U paid in advance and funded his product people... Gaston if thete was ever the slightest issue with either ur coils or rotary u would do anything u can do yo make it right. Now thats good fucking buisness right there... As well as other builder. Treat the ones that support u with good quality ethics. Not take ur money and send u straight garbage then afterwords say that u madr mistakes but im making a newet and better so give me more money... Hahaha yea right...

hey tatu i really dont know about how professional you are. if i had some issues before with previous version and is trying to fix them now, (just like other builders too) then what r u still upto? why do u hate me so much. u dint even buy a machine from me. and if i make new improvement, do u think i will do the same problem as before? if u cant give any chance for the improved version, then better stay away rather than opening up your very professional intentions.

I would like to know if these machines have been field tested this time, and if so, for how long? I never tried the first one, so I don't really have a dog in that fight, but maybe take notes from Nedz. (as far as original replacements). Two years and still haven't made things right with Gaston, no bueno sir. Good luck to you, I'll wait for a review...

pressed the pin a little too much... well, it can be adjusted to make it harder, or can be configured with a hard/soft spring depending on your preference...

I'm getting two, based on my hopes that it will have the kinks ironed out and yes it is a really impressive design and im sure one of my buddies here would want one. Being so light and slim it was super easy and fun to use, I remember being very pleased with using it to color blend and grey shade. Not really my choice for a liner though, at high speed it was rattley.

He made good on it and sent the new one to me.

I'm okay with buying new ones at that price because I no longer have an old one to trade in and I got some good use out of it until it showed it's weaknesses in longevity, plus I modded the hell out of it to fix the issues I felt it had with the slide twisting. I used it for a few more months with no issues(except the vice) and traded it for a neotat. I think it's probably still running strong as he hasn't contacted me to bitch lol. Ritchie and anyone that might feel burnt, I understand and would want a free trade in for sure, especially if yours had more gremlins than mine. Business practices are important, look at me I suck at it

He was good about responding to me too for over a year (until about 2 weeks ago) and very good at excuses and stalling.

I have been waiting for a working machine since november 2011 when i got my first one that didnt work at all, like, didnt run.
I think it`s shady that he is willing to take peoples money for orders here (again) when he has had my money for so long and still not sent me the machines.

All that aside, I hope it works out for you! (and me...).
I think he has a lot of work to do to redeem himself in the eyes of many forum members.

Rotar, i think before you take any orders, you should finish the ones you already had...it´s a honor thing. when i entered this forum i thought this machine interesting, BUT after several reviews and complains, I really don´t feel confortable to make any kind of deal with your brand, retailers, or anything related, I just don´t trust I´ll have warranty or service in the future making my machine a expensive brick if anything goes wrong, and i think this is really easy to happening considering what I read. Acctually, i think you tried to bite more than you can eat and now you couldn´t afford the minimal operation at your company, because if you can, throwhammers should already received what you´ve promised to him.

Can you imagine this thread on the old 'reed street' forum? it would be blood and guts everywhere and 20 pages long full of hate and rage. I think over all this builder has gotten off easy and has been given a pass in most respects, and I hope this new product does well for him and the users. But I'm still confused by the fact that he's again selling something that is little more than shiny. Why not give 10 of them to respected and educated rotary guys to beta test and offer feedback before going into full production mode? All this is little more than putting the cart before the horse so speak, and reeks of yet another person or persons attempt to cash in on our beloved industry. This is nothing more than commentary and me thinking aloud, best of luck to all involved.

I will tell you about service and how it should be, my primus needle guide wheel is not working so I emailed them for a replacement, I got a email back saying they are going to send a courier to collect it Monday and do the work and send it back by courier the following Monday, I would have be done sooner but they have a convention to do they can't and the cost to me? Nothing they are paying all for it thats service for you. So take note.

So i sent dale (rotary works) a message asking if there was supposed to be more. He told me there was supposed to be 3 and offered to send me a new 3 pack at no cost. Again i didnt buy the machine from him and had no dealings prior, to me that kind of customer service shows how much he cares for the users of his machines, i declined the offer and instead ordered another springer which he then included the springs. Dales offer to send me the springs at no cost landed him a loyal customer. I now have 3 rotary works and plan on getting the new model when it comes out. I can say when a tattooer is able to send a message directly to a builder and gets that kind of service it means alot. I
