Hello ladies n gents. Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Steve from Maine. I've been tattooing for 3 years now. Everyday i learn something new and am certain to never stop learning. I came to this site due to my fairly recent purchase in rotaries. My rotary machines that I use are a dragonfly ls, dragonfly ss, and just got my bishop capo 3.5 in the mail two days ago. Haven't used it yet but can't wait to. Feels smooth like butter. I am eager to gain more knowledge about rotaries and meet some cool chaps.

well i have 2 neotats, and i think itīs the same, the only variable on the equation is stroke and velocity and as the stroke is pretty without oscilation and without give so i guess if one thing will change is the weight and distribuition by the size and cps per volt...by the way i love them.

i have only been tattooing a short time so im may have been doing something wrong, But for me i couldnt get the neotat to work for me. they were 2.5 stroke and i couldnt get an area saturated with them and couldnt line at all. Made a trade for a rotary works which i think has a much longer stroke and BAM it jus worked for me effortlessly. I then made a purchase of the springer loved it although i did exchange for a bishop briefly and jus didnt work out. and was glad to get the RW back. Again im not that experienced just my opinion.. Then got a nicks rotary which has a stroke of over 4 and it does everything for me..

so i think you are 100% correct its mostly on the stroke and the person using it :D

2.5 is basically for bg, and 3.5 for packing, you'll see everyone here with the same recipe 2.5-3.5 for bg, 3.2-4.2 packing and 3.5-4.2 for tracing

2.5 for Black& grey, 3.5 if you are going to be blending colors, 4.0 for packing color & lining, & 4.2 for lining.

Had an opportunity to use the capo today. Super smooth and very consistent. Used it for color blending with a 17mag bug at 9.5v. Feel like it is going to be great for bng. This website is trouble. I'm going to be working just to support my rotary collection. You all are a bunch of devils on my shoulders saying buy buy buy.hahahahahah
