Just did a little color work on this piece today, took about 3 hours, used a 5mag and eddie lollis rotary. Still a lot more to add to the rest of the arm. Just thought i would show a little work in progress.

I LOVE japanese (step mom was Japanese, and the culture and art have always been a passion) and I have to say - I really like you captured the true traditional wood print look of this, VERY impressive. I'd be proud to wear it, even if I would have some worry about how some of the details hold up over time.

Pits not very often that I get to do work like this. But I have had good success with it holding up over time. I have another customer that let's me do work like this and his piece that I did was almost 10 years ago and it is holding up quite well. I still have a ways to go with this piece, it will be the whole upper arm when I'm done.
