Rotar Evolve

Okay folks it official i'm literally at the post office now waiting for it to open so i can pick up the rotar evolve. A machine and builder under the gun to deliver a great product. In a few minuets I'll have my first impressions unfortunately i want be using it to tattoo till next week. So it'll just be first impressions and thoughts on build quality. I try to get a video up tomorrow of it running.

Unfortunately correct just opened the box and initial thoughts are that they need a better cnc machine the body actually looks worse than the shift i owned. I would so unfinished and rough. I would have gladly waited a few more weeks to have a more finished design. Altough this is just looks not function i would believe from looking at it will tattoo identically to the shift. The shaft and dampening do seem improved but we'll find out apon running it tomorrow. Here's some upsetting pics.

I hope it surprises with its performance, but I'm not holding my breath (for the way it performs or ever seeing my machines or money).

Like i said for 150 it was good buy thats stealth level money. For 430.00 i.d rather buy a bishop, impact,neotat vivavce, spectra halo frame. All are better machines with great builders and easy to get parts

I'm surprised too it doesn't look bad, I like the RCA placement as well, however I would never trust Nin to give me a machine if I gave him money and I would never support his business by giving him cash either but I wouldn't mind trying it one day second hand from the bst classifieds based on what I just saw. I'm Johnny Severis, and I've ben tattooing for 8 years. This is my review of the Rotar rotary tattoo machine. The custom cord you have to use threw me off. The end that plugs into the Rotar is a 3.5mm (headphone) jack instead of a RCA or standard clip cord terminals. Machine runs really weak. It's not punchy. It's got a cool design but overall not very happy with it. Save your money on another machine. *update* Owner of the machine wanted me to take down the review but I said that I would only do it once I get a polished machine. HE SHOULD NOT BE SELLING PROTOTYPES AT FULL PRICE AND MAKE US GUINEA PIGS. That is just not ethical.

Also if this machine has any longevity its definitely getting take down and carved into something that looks finished.

Okay it's official the evolve tattoos great so now all that's left is longevity. It does get warm while tattooing though. I also haven't lined with it yet. I just always reach for the bishop and spektra for lining i don't like to risk it on outlines.

Glad that it works nicely for you, hopefully it holds up. I really dug how it worked when I had mine, the layout is a sound design I just wish that a great manufacturer would develop it to its potential.

Ok was just on the ROTAR website and my antivirus went haywire. Whats the deal?

Could be any number of things. I just checked the site myself and nothing popped up. Depending on your browser and who your antivirus is it can pick up things like an ad link and consider it malicious. if you get an attack page warning from google it usually means something is up and the webmaster needs to fix it and report it to google to be rechecked.

i think he has a bad code that all et a virus warning . Some virus scanner react on code strinks that could bad !! not is bad .
I have test 2 scanners and nothing pop . The one was Malwarebyte Pro and Kaspersky

some years ago i went in MANILA for visit a friend, very nice country and people in PHILIPINE, i like, but from how the country is and look, sound not the right place to produce something like this products, maybe a more simple FRAME shape can be done great there, but this machine look very complicate, i think in ITALY i can have some problem to find a good factory to produce this , so my opinion is there in PHILIPINE cannot comeout something very difficult
