Frog in Skull, digital painting

How? find good reference photos, create composition, convert to line drawing, then paint using various brushes in photoshop. This took me about 6 hours today.

The skull is great but the frog looks a little like he doesnt belong there,,,,,,if you cut him out then re pasted him on a new layer and adjusted the layer to multiply he would fit in better,,,can i have a mess with it in photoshop would you mind????

sorry i meant add a kind of gaussian blur filter to him so he blends in

Yeah fergus play as much as you'd like. I pasted him to a new layer but ended up spending so much time painting the skull and working the chrome look into the frog's eyes that I didn't spend enough time blending him in. I decided I was done, and kind of like the way he just pops out at you.
