Hey guys just got a spektra 2.5 i want a different stroke lenght, probably for colour and lining, would you recomend the 3.6 or the 4mm?... Serious answers only please, killerink have the 4mm. Ready to order now but a 3.6 i will have to wait 2 weeks.. I use a 4mm cranker for lining and a 3.5 neotat for colour at the mo, cheers for opinions,

3,6 and 4 mm !
I use the 3,6mm for all lineworks (Exept very big groupings) and shading !
4mm for very big linework and colour packing !

Honestly depends on your most used groupings. 3's 5's I would use a 3.2mm, 7's 9's use 3.6mm, and anything on up 4.0mm. These are just recommendations. I tend to stay on the 3.6mm for my halos. Also is a great color machine. By the way, fk sells the stroke wheels for $25, so maybe pick one of those up so you change up your new halo and find what's suits you best.

Thanks reigningink i have now got a 2nd halo body on its way to me, and the 4mm stroke wheel, so i think i will order another motorbolt (3.6) when the 2nd one arrives so i will have a 2.5 stroke wheel and 2 motorbolts 1 4mm and 1 3.6mm :)

used the 3.2 to put some colors today...I think itīs easier than the 3.6 stroke, but this works for me..

I have limted experience with the halo,, and only have the 3.2 cam atm,,, did some line work yesterday, flawless,, packs colour and shades,, and that's odd for me as im all for big strokes on all my machines,,,,really is a special machine

Yeah the halo has the awesome ability to gain more speed in a shorter distance. And since most rotaries need the longer stroke to gain that extra momentum to have the proper puncture power, we usually assume we need that big stroke. But the halo seems to jam all that power into a shorter distance. That's what all those years of testing were for.

Yeah when i ran the 2.5 yesterday at 8v it felt like a cutback liner! Bet it would do a good job of lining with tight 3,5&7's
