Was anyone else there?....pretty good convention.

Got tattooed by dave tevenal and austin grove....both really cool, down to earth dudes....but both used coils...lol

it's weird, i love rotaries, but am still yet to get tattooed by one...lol

i would say it was about %70 coil and %30 percent rotary at the convention.


but god damn did i see alot of cheyenne thunders/spirits and eternal ink

I've been tattooed by Hawks, Vivace's, and swash slides on the rotary side. I've been run over by Danny Fowlers and Keith B's on coils.

It's all in the artist IMO. Keith B's hurt the most but dude was brutal! Vivace's hurt like fuck as well, different artist.

I'm in the camp of use what works for you. There's probably not much difference on the client side except healing. I don't think rotaries cause nearly the trauma. All mine done with rotaries have healed better, easier, faster and much less painful.
