I started tattooing at around the age of 13, grew up around bikers and jail birds, A couple of the old school guys liked my drawings and offered to teach me what they knew about it.
I was troubled kid not much for school, and loved to draw to keep my mind right, it was either that or juvy and i wasnt fond of that place.
So I started my adventure learning what i could and from who i could, we didnt have youtube it was hands on from the start. I was lucky enough to get in to a shop by the time i was 14. I started tattooing at Inkslingers in Detroit, it was like assembly line work get them in the chair and get paid, long 10 hour days by the time i was 16 I was still working at Inkslinger but added my days off to two other shops one in Roseville and the other here in Monroe ancient art the boss wasnt fond of it but never really complained, guess i had a little ADD, compounded with the art and love of money.
by 1996 i had opened my first of 3 shops, and put my 80 hours work weeks to bed, well sort of.. lol...
