Hya iv been messing arround with a direct drive machine im building i have a motor that i had spare but not sure if its the right spec. What sort of motor should i be looking for a lining direct drive machine. Output tourque. Output speed rpms ect ect.

You have to figure out what works best for you. No one can guess what you are going to like. Torque is important but for lining speed is more important in my opinion. Rough math will tell you 140cps is around 8400 cycles or rotations per minute. Thus 9000rpm should be your minimum speed for lining. 1200rpm will give you a better range and most likely better torque.
It might be better help if you start with what motor you have.
usually fast motors with low torque since the speed aids in the impregnation factor
So i take it if you had a motor with high rpm with high tourque you would do more dsmage to the skin . And vice versa for a colour machine

It's all about balance and application. Like I said you have to find what works best for you. For a DD I like a fast motor with a good amount of torque. The one I use in my machines is a monster. Max speed is 16,000 and 5.97 mN-m torque. But I use it at half voltage so the numbers are much lower in use. As well as the load of the needle. But I like to have the extra grunt incase I ever need it. Hope that helps.
u need also be carefull on how many AMPERE the motor absorbe, becouse more ampere, more get hot ,this is very important, many builders they don care , but for me is one of the main point,

Its the gcm mnm numbers im stuck in obviously the higher the number the more torque but duno what to go for for lining purpose. I no its person preference but builders must have a guidline for torque when it comes to lining. Colour shading ect
