Hello from Pennsylvania.
Hi everyone, I am a tattooist from Scranton, Pa. I've been tattooing for a little over a year, under the guidance of an artist who is also a coil machine builder. I've recently expressed interest in realistic black and grey, as I am also an illustration major in college, and much of the work I do is realism within school. I am interested in purchasing a rotary and have been looking at Bishop's, Fk Iron's, as well as Dan Kubin's machines. I am leaning more towards the Dan Kubin rotaries, simply for aesthetic value, and also cost. I am on a bit of a budget as I am still building my clientele. I am confident everyone on this forum will assist me well, as I have lurked for a while.

Hey man, welcome. I tattoo near Bloomsburg Pa. I use a kubin for lining and love it, bishop should be good for b&g realism, I use vivaces and rotaryworks for b&g and love them

I'm torn between a kubin and a rotary works for my first rotary

Welcome to the forum!
You can't really go wrong with either of those machines, I've not used a Kubin but they get rave reviews. Maybe you could browse the galleries, find someone with similar style and see what they use?
