Attachment 27367got this machine today... gotta say I'm pretty excited. The stroke adjustment goes from less than 1mm to over 5mm easy. The give also goes from pretty soft to no Give. It's super easy to adjust with no tools. it has more than enough power to push anything!!! And can run really slow at low volts without stalling. this thing is nearly perfect only draw back is it does vibrate a smidge. I got the machine from a member here used and had to get updated parts from swashdrive to make it the current version. Swashdrives customer service was spot on and had the parts to me in 4 days!!!!

So far this machine has exceeded all expectations. so easy to tattoo with.

if you wrap a folded paper towel around the grip it helps with vibrations

It tattoos so good I'm not bothered by the vibration.^^^^

I don't have this one, but I have the adjustable stroke Gen 8 and it's killer. Very excited to try this one as well. I get machines faster from them than I do American companies. Great service.

so how do you rate that grip compared to a hawk-does click to adjust?

Clicks to adjust at the nut.. not the grip. So it doesn't twist with the weight of the machine when you're holding it. It's awesome. But a little hard to figure out how to click it while it's bagged.

How loud is it compared to a thunder?

It deffinatly makes some noise as you let the give out. If you run it with the rigid bar it's only just slightly louder than the thunder.
