Any Info on this..
I seen this machine on a few times, and wonder if anyone has had any experience with it....I think it looks like a real hard hitter, and certainly interests me..http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rotary-tat...#ht_500wt_1413 Any info appreciated, my only concern is the gap between spring saddle and abar appears to be quite small, but I assume the spring is just there to dampen the hit.....P.

Can't hurt to try. But yeah the abar looks damn low.

Send the seller a message and ask what the stroke length is.
-
I have asked a few questions in the past, but, there is a language barrier.....
-
Then I would suggest you look elsewhere. If you can't communicate now, what are you going to do if there is a problem ?
-
Yep good point nivek....I am pretty sure this is a generic pic, as he has more than one for sale...Just wondering if anyone has any of the other builds in the link..P

i too have been keepin an eye on this machine guys, looks really nice, with gap between the motor housing and the bottom of the a-bar...yeah it does look a lil on the small side, but then its not a real true side on pic of the machine, so maybe a lil bigger? the only other thing that would concern me slightly, is the thickness of the tube vice, i like a vice to really grip the stem, and a had trouble with machines mainly coils, having just a lil bit of play cos the vice wasnt thick enough to really grip it, but it does look nice ha

Not sure if the force on this is the same as it is with a coil but I had a Soba Pilot liner with a small gap between the abar and the back spring saddle and it broke every 2 weeks.
-
Yep a small or tight gap can sometimes cause springs to snap on a regular basis, I think it would be the same for Coils and Rotaries alike that use an abar system...Maybe even more of a problem for Rotaries as the tend to run faster/harder with a lot less give than a Coil....
