You may be able to just buy a cheap SS single flaired body jewlery tunnel. Cut a slit in it?
Or buy a 10$ china machine and desolder and remove the sleeve.
I think you want 10mm ss tubing with an 8mm diameter and a 1mm wall. You can find that on eBay or a plumbing shop.
Good options as well. I have seen a similar fix mentioned once where the person posted something like "Commandeered a tunnel from the piercer at the shop"Quote:

I personally dont like them on my machines and just cut them off. I'll take a look in my junk drawer to see if I have any. I'll just send them to you if you want them. pm me your address. I'll just throw them in an envelope and just send them snail mail.
I appreciate it CKJR I just cut off the old vice and bolted a new one on I have a 1" machine and didn't have enough vice to hold my tubes
