I use mine between 2.5 an 4.6 lowest being black and grey, middle area for lining and 4.6 to push a big big mag.

Ok cool, I just wanted to make sure I was not over powering the carbon axis. My coils run at about 5 volts, but the neotat I have runs 9 volts, so I'm all over the volt scale.Quote:

I have been putting the carbon thru its paces at various voltages and I like to actually use it at about 4.7 for shading, and up to 5 for color packing, only used it onece so far for lining and that was at 5.3. So it's good to know that I was not over bolting the machine.
